Dr Sujoy Lal Thaosen Sworn In As The Chief Commissioner, ASCRTPS

GUWAHATI, March 12: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria administered the oath of office to Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen, IPS(Retd.) as the chief commissioner, Assam State Commission for Rights to Public Services at a solemn function held at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.

Earlier, chief secretary to the government of Assam, Paban Kumar Borthakur sought the permission of the Governor to start the proceeding of the ceremony.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by minister for power Nandita Gorlosa,  DGP GP Singh, commissioner and secretary to the Governor of Assam SS Meenakshi Sundaram, commissioner and secretary GAD M.S. Manivannan, former DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Add DGP Hiren Nath along with the  senior officers of State government and the family members of Dr Sujoy Lal Thaosen.
