Morigaon, May 31: As part of celebration of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the India independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of about sixteen schemes implemented by the Central Government in the country on Tuesday.
Minister for Information & Public Relation and Water Resources Pijush Hazarika attended in the PM’s interaction programme alongwith the deputy commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia, CEO Khitish Ch. Pegu and heads of various departments related to the sixteen schemes.
Hazarika instructed the CEO, Morigaon Zila Parishad to issue the PMAY to poor beneficiaries only. “Strict action will be taken against the officials who try to deprive the poor from their rights,” he said.
He added, “In order to fulfill PM’s dream ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Bikash’, the poor beneficiaries must be benefited by the PMAY.
