Being In The Present

We should reward ourselves for the hard work we do. We should be kind and generous towards others. Only a person with a calm and clear mind, pure heart and soul, physical fitness, and energy can be joyful and understand better the events of life and take the right action at right time. We should just be present at the moment and do what’s necessary then without stress or anxiety. Grieving the past and worrying about the future doesn’t do any good or solve any problem

We are human beings. We should be here and now. The earth was formed thousands of years ago and has been revolving around the sun and rotating on its axis since then. It will continue for thousands of years more; if no cosmic event occurs disturbing it. We are here for a short span of a lifetime about 70-80 years on average. Also, there are billions of people in the world at present. Many great humans came before us, and did many great things for humanity and the earth, but had left us. Thus, we should not boost our egos too much. The world was here before us and will be there even if we are not here. What matters is the people we impact during our lifetime. We have some responsibility toward our family, our society, our country humanity, and the world. Our value is in helping the needy with our resources and skills.

We need to overcome different problems that we face at present. We are not here to compete with each other. We are not here to achieve things only, whether it is wealth, power, or knowledge. We should live in peace and harmony. We should be grateful for what we have in our lives and be contended. There is enough for everybody’s needs but not enough for one’s greed.

Life is not an emergency always. We must learn to be in our natural easy state sometimes, not constantly engage in doing something. We should stay genuine and in our pure original state. We should not try to show or prove something to others. We should not pretend or be fake. We should be what we are. We should try to be in our best form and do our best in what we do. We should find out our potential and utilize their maximum. We should start wherever we are and with whatever we have, as soon as possible. Procrastination doesn’t allow us to achieve anything.

We should not be too hard on ourselves. We should give ourselves some time, detaching from everything for a while, to observe and understand what’s going on in and around us and to act accordingly for benefit of all. We should not carry too much emotional baggage of loss, hatred, jealousy, betrayal, failure, etc. We should forgive ourselves for the mistakes we did and learn from them. Grieving the past and worrying about the future doesn’t do any good or solve any problem.
