GUWAHATI, June 27: On the occasion of Ambubachi Mela of, International Human Rights Council (IHRC), Guwahati Chapter in association with Shree Shree Pandunath Devalaya Samiti organised a lodging and fooding camp in the premises of Shree Ganesh Mandir, Pandu.
International Human Rights Council, Guwahati Chapter president Sanjay Kumar Sureka informed that the camp started on June 16, 2022 and will continue till June 30, 2022. Approximately 600 pilgrims are staying permanently in the camp and approximately 7000 devotees are having food daily. In the morning, tea & biscuits, for lunch- rice, dal & sabji, for evening- chira & muri, for dinner- rice, dal & sabji. The camp is supported by senior advocate and renowned social worker Dr Ashok Saraf. Medical facilities are also available at the camp.
