Reception committee formed for 2nd Summer Poetry Meet

BOKAJAN, July 10: The Karbi Lammet Amei (KLA) Bokajan Branch has formed a reception committee for holding the 2nd Summer Poetry Meet on July 23, in a meeting held at Bokajan Karbi Club on Saturday.
The meeting was chaired by president, KLA Bokajan Branch, Jemson Bey and the object of the meeting was explained by Secretary Roland Rongpi. After a prolonged discussion, it was agreed to hold the 2nd Summer Poetry Meet by KLA, Bokajan Branch for a one day affair on July 23.
The reception committee is headed by SGB, Borsing Bey as president, Jemson Bey as vice president, Roland Rongpi as secretary and Rupsing Rongpi as assistant secretary. Former chairman, KAAC, Longki Timung; former executive member, KAAC, Jivan Chandra Pathak; Ramsing Tokbi and Jonasing Phangcho were made as advisers. Chief patron was MAC Surjya Rongphar.
President, KLA, Nihang Donsuri Branch, Tusheswar Terang and general secretary, Sampri Kimi Phangcho; general secretary, KLA, Central Committee, Joysing Tokbi and others were present.
