MORIGAON, Oct 21: The Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) is all set to celebrate its 34th foundation day centrally on November 2, 2024, amidst enthusiasm in the meeting hall of the Morigaon District Journalist Association. Since the formation of Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) through various struggles, it will reach its 35th year on November 2, 2024. On the occasion of the foundation day, the central committee, in cooperation with Morigaon district, will celebrate the 34th foundation day in the presence of distinguished guests. To ensure the day goes smoothly under the guidance of the chairman of the Morigaon district committee, Mineshwar Konwar, and the secretary, Manik Nath, preparations are ongoing.
It is informed that the programme will be inaugurated by MASS’s Central Committee chairman, Aditya Lahkar, with the hoisting of the flag. The Swahid Tarpan programme will be inaugurated by Rajen Deka, president, Shaheed Parivar Samanyarakshi Parishad Assam, Ghanshyam Sharma, a family member of the martyr Pradeep Sharma, and social worker Dharanidhar Buragohain.
