Proprietor of Mantu Book Stall passes away

NAGAON, Dec 23: Mantu Sheikh, the owner of ‘Mantu Book Stall’ at Panigaon Chariali, Nagaon, passed away on Sunday night following a prolonged illness. A resident of Panigaon, Sheikh was a respected businessman and a beloved figure in the community.

Known for his thriving book business, ‘Mantu Book Stall’ served as a cherished hub for readers and intellectuals.

Apart from his business acumen, Sheikh was actively involved in social and cultural initiatives. His amiable nature and dedication to community welfare earned him widespread admiration and respect.

News of his passing led to an outpouring of grief, with people from all walks of life gathering at his residence to pay their final respects.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a large circle of family and friends.
