Me-dam-Me-Phi at Athabari

DEMOW, Jan 29: Me-Dam-Me-Phi will be organised near the historic Athabari Borpukhuri under the patronage of the All Tai Ahom Student Union (ATASU), Athabari Regional Committee, and in association with the people of Athabari on January 30 and January 31 for two days.

On January 30 evening the earthen lamps will be lit and after that, the Phuralung will be done. On January 31, different programmes such as flag hoisting, moidam tarpan, sapling plantation, Dam Phi Puja, and drawing competition will be organised. A community feast will be organised.
