Sajal Kumar Singh, in his speech, highlighted that in the past, people were largely unaware of the works and benefits provided by the Department of Industries and Commerce.  As a result, they could not avail themselves of the department’s facilities.

“However, times have changed;” he said, “Today, business and commerce have expanded globally and are easily accessible. The government of Assam has also taken initiatives like Advantage Assam 2.0, aiming to set up industries in various parts of the state, including the BTR (Bodoland Territorial Region), which will contribute to economic growth and create employment opportunities”.

Additionally, BTC’s executive member of Education, Skill Development, and E-Office Department, Wilson Hasda, addressed the gathering about the importance of business expansion and industrial development in creating employment opportunities.

The additional director and departmental head of the BTC Industries and Commerce Centre, Jyotirmoy Daimary, welcomed everyone to the event.
