Inter-District Cricket Tournament: Morigaon DSA emerge group champion

Morigaon, April 3: In the 3rd match of the Central Assam ‘Group A’ – Under-14 Pulin Das Memorial Inter-District Cricket Tournament, Morigaon District Sports Association emerged as the group champion by defeating Titabar District Sports Association by a margin of 49 runs.

Batting first, Morigaon District Sports Association scored 86 runs for the loss of all wickets in 26.4 overs. Adil Ahmed contributed 41 runs, while Himan Jyoti Bodo scored 19. For Titabar, Leenav Dutta claimed 4 wickets, Om Guwala took 3 wickets, and Naman Shahi secured 1 wicket. 

In reply, Titabar was bowled out for just 37 runs in 22 overs while chasing the target. Spinner Joyjit Das starred with the ball, taking 7 wickets, while Parnel Kashyap and Krishna Biswas claimed one wicket each for Morigaon.
