GUWAHATI, May 6: Admissions are now open for the 2025–26 academic year at Amrita International School of Law, a constituent of the top-ranked Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The school is inviting applications for its five-year integrated B.A., LL.B. and B.B.A., LL.B. programmes, which are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in Indian legal education while equipping them with an international perspective.
The programmes aim to nurture globally competent legal professionals through a curriculum that balances core Indian legal principles with optional modules in international law. Students delve into Indian jurisprudence, constitutional law, and civil and criminal procedures, while also gaining exposure to global legal systems — preparing them for careers in courts, law firms, corporate houses, NGOs, or international institutions.
Amrita’s legal education philosophy emphasizes both academic rigor and ethical grounding. “We’re here to shape not just good lawyers but ethical, globally minded legal professionals,” said a faculty member. “Our students are trained to solve real-world problems and lead with purpose — both at home and abroad.”
A major highlight of the programme is the 100% placement support offered through the university’s Corporate and Industry Relations (CIR) division. Students benefit from structured career guidance, soft skills training, and internship opportunities from the outset. The CIR division leverages strong ties with law firms, corporations, and legal institutions to ensure students are prepared to transition smoothly from academic life to professional practice.
The law school offers modern infrastructure, moot court training, legal clinics, and research centres to support hands-on learning. Faculty members bring experience from the bar, bench, and academia, contributing to a learning environment that is both student-centric and future-ready.
Prospective students passionate about justice, corporate law, or international legal careers are encouraged to apply and be part of a programme that combines Indian legal expertise with global vision.
