Assam Lekhika Samaj presents award to Borsing Rongphar, Jeena Rajkumari

DIPHU, Aug 9: Borsing Rongphar, journalist and writer from Diphu, Karbi Anglong and singer Jeena Rajkumari were awarded the ‘Loko Bandhu Lombudhor Kaman Huworoni Mati Manuh Samannoi award’ by the Assam Lekhika Samaj.
Rongphar was presented with the award for his book titled ‘Karbi Anglongor Rajnoitik Itihaz -Political History of Karbi Anglong’ in a programme held at Cotton Alumni Bhawan Auditorium, Guwahati.
President of Assam Lekhika Samaj, Padumi Gogoi was present and a journalist working for Assamese daily Pratidin, Prakash Mahanta was present as a guest.
