MLA Distributes Pressure Cookers Among ST Beneficiaries

KOKRAJHAR, Aug 9: A total of 91 beneficiaries received pressure cookers under the MLA Development Welfare Scheme-2021-22.
The pressure cookers have been distributed among the Scheduled Tribes (ST) beneficiaries under the MLA quota under the leadership of Kokrajhar East LAC MLA Lawrence Islary.
The pressure cookers were ceremonially distributed on Tuesday among the beneficiaries under Kokrajhar East constituency at a programme held at Kokrajhar East LAC Seva Kendra office in Kokrajhar town.
MLA Lawrence Islary, Kokrajhar sub-divisional ST Development Welfare Board chairman Praneswar Brahma, general secretary of Kokrajhar district committee UPPL, Suraj Mushahary, UPPL party’s media & publicity secretary Hantigiri Narzary attended the distribution programme and distributed the pressure cookers.
Islary said that the pressure cookers were distributed among the ST beneficiaries to extend helping hand among the needy people. He said that the pressure cookers were distributed under the welfare scheme of MLA quota.
