Himanta Biswa Sarma calls on Nitin Gadkari to discuss completion of infra projects

GUWAHATI, July 2: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarmaon Wednesday met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) Nitin Gadkari and discussed time-bound completion of several flagship infrastructure projects of the state.

“In New Delhi today, I had a fruitful meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister Shri @nitin_gadkari Ji”, the Chief Minister posted on ‘X’.

“We reviewed the progress of Assam’s flagship infra projects and sought @MORTHIndia’s cooperation in their time-bound completion”, he said.

The Union Minister has assured the state government of his ministry’s “undivided focus on this matter”, Sarma added. (PTI)
