TAYP founder Pankaj Borgohain passes away

DEMOW, July 22: Pankaj Borgohain, founder General Secretary of the Tai Ahom Yuva Parishad (TAYP) and a resident of Demow Janatapath, passed away on Monday.

Borgohain suddenly fell ill and was admitted to Demow Model Hospital by family members, where he later succumbed.

Members of the Tai Ahom Yuva Parishad and the All Tai Ahom Students’ Union paid their last respects to the departed leader.

Condolences have poured in from various quarters over the loss.
