GUWAHATI, Oct 10: MediaTek, a leading global fabless semiconductor company powering over two billion connected devices annually, has unveiled its vision for the next generation of AI-enabled mobile devices, anchored by its new flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
The announcement was made during an exclusive media briefing highlighting MediaTek’s roadmap for AI, gaming, and energy-efficient performance in smartphones.

The Dimensity 9500 chipset is designed to deliver industry-leading on-device AI, console-grade gaming experiences, and unmatched power efficiency. MediaTek showcased a variety of AI-driven and gaming demos, including image-to-image style conversion, 4K-resolution text-to-image generation, and support for Unreal Engine technologies like Mega Light and Nanite, enabling real-time, AAA-quality visuals on mobile devices.
During the session, OEM partners including Vivo, OPPO, Samsung, Tecno, and Lava participated, with Goldee Patnaik, Head of PR and Communications, OPPO India, delivering a keynote on the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Series, powered by the Dimensity 9500 SoC.
Speaking on the occasion, Anku Jain, Managing Director, MediaTek India, said, “With AI becoming integral to daily life, consumers expect devices that deliver greater intelligence, speed, and personalization while maintaining energy efficiency. Our flagship Dimensity 9500 delivers breakthrough on-device AI, top-tier performance and efficiency, and a full suite of premium experiences that our OEMs can bring to users around the world.” Jain added that MediaTek’s participation aligns with the IMC 2025 theme of ‘Innovate to Transform’, emphasizing the company’s expertise in connectivity, computing, and multimedia technologies.
MediaTek also highlighted its broader technology portfolio across multiple device categories, including the HP G1m Chromebook powered by MediaTek Kompanio 520, the Vivo X200 FE with Dimensity 9300+, and the Lumio Arc 5 Projector, among others.
The company actively contributed to thought leadership at IMC 2025 through panel discussions on topics such as “Future Gadgets: Designed and Built from India,” “Charting India’s Telecom Vision,” and “Key 6G Use Cases,” spotlighting MediaTek’s role in enabling smarter, faster, and more immersive consumer experiences.
On the sidelines of IMC 2025, MediaTek hosted a gaming tournament featuring Dimensity 8000 and 9000 series smartphones, where over 50 MediaTek Connect fans competed in an electrifying showcase of performance and precision. Anuj Sidharth, Director, Marketing and Communications, MediaTek India, said, “The Game On with MediaTek tournament is more than just a competition — it introduces our technologies to passionate tech enthusiasts and allows them to push these devices to their limits, cementing MediaTek’s leadership in gaming-ready SoCs.”
In addition, MediaTek reaffirmed its commitment to India’s digital ecosystem by partnering as the official Technology Media Lounge Partner at IMC for the second consecutive year, strengthening its role in driving conversations around innovation, connectivity, and the future of intelligent technologies. MediaTek also announced a collaboration with TSMC to develop a next-generation flagship SoC on the enhanced N2P process, with volume production expected late next year, signaling the company’s continued focus on advancing AI, gaming, and connectivity capabilities for mobile and smart devices.
