GUWAHATI, Oct 10: HDFC Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, unveiled “My Business QR” at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative to provide small businesses with an instant, commerce-ready digital storefront.
Developed in partnership with Vyaparify, the new solution extends the bank’s popular SmartHub Vyapar merchant app, which serves over 2 million merchants across India. My Business QR merges two widely used digital habits in the country — QR payments and chat-based engagement — to create a convenient, engagement-driven online purchase experience.
Merchants can now create a digital business profile that functions as a fully commerce-ready storefront, allowing customers to scan and save the profile directly to their phone contacts. The QR also improves merchant discoverability through search engine-optimised listings, enabling customers to order and pay for products and services instantly, safely, and securely.
The launch of My Business QR is expected to help small and medium enterprises capture a larger share of local digital commerce without major investments, complex tools, or technical expertise.
