It is noteworthy that in a grand cultural programme organized yesterday by the Indian Art and Cultural Society in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Ruby Bora Bordoloi, wife of late renowned singer Pankaj Bordoloi of Tezpur, was conferred the “Global Arts Award.”

During the same event, Violina Bordoloi, the only daughter of Ruby Bora Bordoloi, showcased her exceptional talent by performing Sattriya dance, bringing pride and honor to Assam and Tezpur.

Renowned dance artist Ruby Bora Bordoloi, through her dance institution “Nupur Nrityangana” established in Tezpur, has been training new generations of students in Sattriya as well as various other dance forms.
