Three Seriously Injured in Sudden Sharp Weapon Attack in Kobaikata

Nagaon, Nov 09: A violent clash erupted today between two groups in Kobaikata, under the jurisdiction of Batadrava Police Station in Nagaon district. Three individuals were seriously injured in a sudden attack with sharp weapons.

According to the complaint, a three-member gang led by Majibur Rahman from Kobaikata village launched the assault with sharp weapons over a dispute regarding the cleaning of a pond’s embankment. The victims Rabij Uddin, Mohsin Alam, and Nasir Uddin, all residents of the same village—sustained severe injuries.


The injured were immediately rushed to Batadrava Mini Hospital for treatment. However, due to the critical condition of Rabij Uddin and Mohsin Alam, both were referred to Nagaon Medical College Hospital for advanced care.

A formal complaint (FIR) has already been lodged with Batadrava Police Station in connection with the incident.
