Through this integration, PhonePe users will be able to explore ChatGPT’s features directly within the company’s platforms, enabling smarter, more intuitive responses to routine needs such as travel planning, shopping assistance and other daily tasks.

The collaboration is positioned to open up new generative AI use cases as adoption rises across the country.

Rahul Chari, Founder, Whole-time Director and Chief Technology Officer, PhonePe, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to delivering digital services at population scale.

“This strategic alliance demonstrates that collaborations between innovative companies in this space can help expand the reach of cutting-edge technology to the broader population. We are excited to partner with OpenAI to begin this journey,” he said.
