Interaction programme on cultural sustenance

KOKRAJHAR, Nov 17: An interaction programme on sustaining culture through academic institutions was organised on Monday at the Mahendra Ballav Dev Choudhary Auditorium of Fakiragram College. The event aimed to highlight the role of educational institutions in preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

Dr Peter B Endersen, Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, attended as the resource person, offering insights on cultural continuity in a globalised world. Dr Jhanin Mushahary, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Bodoland University, delivered the keynote address, emphasising the responsibility of institutions in safeguarding cultural identity.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr Manaj Kr Brahma, Principal of Fakiragram College. Jointly organised by the IQAC of Fakiragram College and the Department of Political Science, Bodoland University, the event was anchored by IQAC Coordinator Rajendra Prasad Roy. Students and faculty members actively participated, making the interaction meaningful and engaging.
