GUWAHATI, Dec 7: Sandisk has announced the launch of the WD_BLACK SN7100 NVMe SSD in India, positioning it as a high-performance storage solution for mainstream gamers seeking faster loading times and greater capacity to support increasingly large and graphics-intensive games.
Built on Sandisk’s latest TLC 3D NAND technology, the SN7100 delivers read speeds of up to 7,250 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,900 MB/s for the 1TB and 2TB variants, offering up to 35 per cent higher performance over the previous generation SSD.

The drive also provides storage options up to 4TB, aimed at users with expanding game libraries and frequent content updates.
Engineered for laptops and gaming handheld devices, the SSD offers up to 100 per cent improved power efficiency at maximum speed compared to its predecessor.
The 4TB model supports endurance of up to 1,200 TBW, catering to gamers engaged in gameplay streaming, speedrun captures and intensive content creation.

The WD_BLACK SN7100 NVMe SSD is available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB models, with prices starting at ₹4,899 for the 500GB version.
