NAGAON, Dec 30: A cancer awareness camp was organised at Nagaon Marwari Hindi School on Monday in collaboration with the Nagaon Lions Club and Nagaon Medical College and Hospital.
More than a hundred students participated in the awareness programme, which aimed at educating young minds about cancer, its causes and preventive measures.

Dr Bishnu Ram Das, Principal of Nagaon Medical College and Hospital and Dr Gitali Das addressed the students and explained various causes of cancer along with ways to prevent the disease through healthy lifestyle practices and early awareness.
Several doctors and dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Kishor Kumar Dev Principal of Marwari Hindi School, Jiten Agarwala president of Nagaon Lions Club, Maharshi Vishal Bordoloi Secretary, Madan Saha, Biswajit Mahanta, Bakul Bora, Mala Sarma Bordoloi, Nanu Das, Hemanta Bordoloi and other members of the Lions Club.
