Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Arrives In Kohima

KOHIMA, Aug 22: Union Finance and Corporate Affairs minister, Nirmala Sitharaman arrived in the Nagaland capital Kohima on Monday. She landed at the Assam Rifle’s helipad, Kohima. The Union Finance minister is on her three-day visit to Nagaland from August 22 to 24 to attend the Nagaland Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Investment Conclave 2022.

On her arrival, the Union Finance minister was received by Nagaland chief minister, Neiphiu Rio along with his minister colleagues, host of official dignitaries, Alok Kumar Choudary, managing director (Retail Business & Operations), State Bank of India, Corporate Centre, Mumbai and others.

On the second day of the ongoing Nagaland CSR & Investment Conclave 2022 session including experience sharing and development partnership and investment opportunities in Nagaland (Hybrid) will be held simultaneously at NBCC Convention Centre on August 23.

Investment & Startup Pitch a session on Investment Opportunities in Nagaland will be held at The Directorate of IT & C Conference Hall. The second day event will also include Bankers Conclave & Credit Outreach at Capital Cultural Hall Kohima which will be graced by Union minister Finance & Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman and chief minister Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio.

There will be a valedictory session at NBCC Convention center which will be graced by minister, Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue & Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu.

The daylong programme will conclude with cultural programmes and a state dinner to be hosted at the banquet hall. (NNN)
