The mass joining programme was held at the BJP’s Assam state headquarters, Bajpayee Bhawan, at Basistha, marking a significant political development in the state.
Welcoming the new entrants, Assam Pradesh BJP president Dilip Saikia said the party today occupies a unique and unparalleled position globally, with 14.50 crore primary members and nearly 12 lakh active members.
Addressing the gathering, Saikia said the BJP has emerged as the world’s largest political organisation, with its presence spread across nearly 71 per cent of India’s geographical landscape.
