DIPHU, Feb 9: In line with directives of the Election Commission of India, the Karbi Anglong district administration will publish the final photo electoral rolls for three Assembly constituencies on February 10, officials said on Monnday.
The rolls, prepared with January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, will cover 108-Bokajan (ST), 109-Howraghat (ST) and 110-Diphu (ST) Legislative Assembly Constituencies.
The formal publication will take place at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here.
Recognised political parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party, Asom Gana Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress, have been invited to witness the publication to ensure transparency in the electoral process.
Following the release, the District Election Officer will address a press meet at 11.30 am to share updated voter statistics and respond to media queries.
Members of the Diphu Press Club, Karbi Anglong Journalists Association and the District Press Club have been requested to attend.
Officials said the final publication follows the Special Summary Revision exercise conducted by the Election Commission late last year to ensure an accurate and updated voter list for the district.
