Galaxy Cement donates dustbins to Batadrava Than

GUWAHATI, Feb 21: Galaxy Cement has donated dustbins to Batadrava Than as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness.

The company said the initiative is aligned with the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and is expected to help maintain hygiene and the overall cleanliness of the newly developed shrine premises.

Members of the shrine management committee and local residents expressed appreciation for the contribution, stating that the donation would play an important role in preserving the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the historic religious site.

Nipu Haloi, general manager of Galaxy Cement, said that maintaining a clean environment is essential for a healthy society and affirmed the company’s commitment to continue supporting public welfare initiatives across Assam.

The programme was also attended by Samiran Deka, deputy general manager, along with other company representatives.
