GUWAHATI, March 2: With Holi around the corner, OTT platforms have rolled out a fresh slate of films and series, offering viewers a wide range of options for the festive long weekend.
Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has also highlighted its Airtel IPTV service, which aggregates more than 29 OTT applications, over 600 live TV channels and an extensive on-demand content library, positioning it as a single-window entertainment solution for viewers during the festive break.
Among the prominent new releases this week is Secret Stories: Roslin on JioHotstar, a Malayalam psychological thriller that explores paranoia and trauma through the story of a teenager haunted by recurring nightmares.
The series blends suspense with psychological drama, making it a notable addition for thriller enthusiasts.
On Apple TV+, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters – Season 2 continues the Titan saga, expanding its narrative with larger-scale conflicts and returning iconic creatures.
The series builds on the established universe with heightened action and visual spectacle.
Netflix has released Accused, a psychological drama starring Konkona Sen Sharma, which examines the fallout of misconduct allegations on a respected medical professional.
The show delves into themes of public scrutiny, reputation and personal relationships.
Meanwhile, ZEE5’s Tamil crime thriller Thadayam follows a sub-inspector investigating ritualistic murders along the Tamil Nadu–Andhra Pradesh border, offering a tense investigative narrative.
In addition to fresh releases, new episodes of popular international titles are also drawing attention. Netflix’s Bridgerton – Season 4, Part 2 continues its romantic drama, while Prime Video features The Bluff, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas in an action-driven storyline about confronting a violent past.
Prime Video is also set to premiere Young Sherlock on March 4, presenting a reimagined origin story of the iconic detective in his formative years.
With festive gatherings often followed by relaxed indoor time, industry observers note that Holi has increasingly become a key window for streaming platforms to release high-profile content.
