ICAI Guwahati Branch holds seminar on audit quality

GUWAHATI, May 10: The Guwahati Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (EIRC), under the aegis of the Centre for Audit Quality Committee, successfully organised a focused CPE seminar on “Improving Audit Quality using Tools and Checklist & Financial Statements of Non-Corporate Entities” on May 8 at ICAI Bhawan.

In the first session on “Financial Statement Formats for NCEs & Practical Presentation Aspects”, Branch Chairman CA Anjani Kumar Mundhra welcomed the delegates and highlighted the importance of the topics. The technical session was delivered by CA Sandip Dey from Kolkata. The session was initiated by Branch Secretary CA Piyush Birmiwal, followed by a vote of thanks by CA Victor Saha.

The second session on “Enhancing Audit Quality Using Tools and Checklists” was addressed by CA Vishal Doshi. The session was initiated by CA Jayprakash Gupta, while the vote of thanks was delivered by CPE Chairman CA Vikash Choudhary.

The seminar served as an important knowledge-sharing session for professionals to stay aligned with the evolving audit and reporting framework.
