Goa’s maritime infrastructure discussed

PANAJI, May 28: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has met Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal during his visit to New Delhi, and the two leaders reviewed initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s maritime infrastructure.

Sawant met the Union minister in the national capital on Wednesday.

“Reviewed various initiatives to strengthen the beautiful coastal state’s maritime infrastructure. Modi government is committed to harnessing the true potential of our coastal regions for national growth,” he said in a post on X. Earlier on Wednesday, Sawant also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his Delhi visit. (PTI)
