MORIGAON, Sept 14: Jeevan Jeuti Farmers’ Club (JJFC) and Nehru Yuba Kendra (NYK), Morigaon jointly celebrated Hindi Day at Garmari Girls’ M.E school on Wednesday.
On the eve of the celebration, a cleanliness drive was conducted inside the school campus. Thereafter, a plantation drive was held which was inaugurated by the Hindi teacher of the school Nileswari Deuri.
Besides, a rally in keeping with the celebration of the day was taken out. An open meeting was also organised. The open meeting was presided over by Narashingha Deka which was inaugurated by the president of AAKS, Tulsi Deka.
