BISWANTH CHARIALI, Sept 18: Fusion Micro Finance Limited organised a free health check-up camp for rural people at Biswanth Chariali, Assam. The program was attended by Khanin Saikia (ward member) and Ani Bora (Asha worker).
On behalf of the company, Anupal Taid (RM), Abhijit Saikia (senior AM), Bidyut Kumar (A.M.), Ritumoni Kakati (BM), Jatin Barman (S.R.O), Manoranjan Datta (admin) and other branch staff were present. About 175 women and children participated in the camp.
The event was a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of the company. Fusion Micro Finance Limited looks after the health of the people living in the society and strives to bring about a change in their lives. The gynaecologist and general physician who came to the camp examined the women and children and after the test, various types of tests like blood sugar, haemoglobin, etc., were also tested. After investigation, medicines were also distributed as per the requirement.
According to a senior company official, “Fusion Micro Finance is conscious of its social responsibilities and is constantly striving to discharge it. Organising this event is a part of this effort. Distributed masks in this regard and also advised people to maintain social distance.”
The dignitaries and guests present in the program appreciated this free health check-up distribution of the company. The guests who attended the program advised the people to get their health check-up done regularly. Also motivated to seek medical help for any health problem.
Fusion Micro Finance has not confined its responsibilities only to financial transactions, but it is also continuously contributing to other social activities through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
