AMTRON officials visit Austria

GUWAHATI, Oct 6: A team headed by Ramendra Narayan Kalita, MLA, chairman, AMTRON, comprising of Ritu Baran Sarmah, vice chairman, Shyamal Kumar Bhuyan, manager, Jitu Moni Deka and Biswajit Dey, AMTRON Drone Cell visited different parts of Austria. They were accompanied by Austrian Government officials. The team interacted with various organisations, universities and start-ups working in the field of AI/ML, smart city, bio-technology, automobile, 3D printing, smart CNC machines, drone technology, digital media, smart batteries, smart energy, smart classes and other smart technology useful for Indian subcontinent on September 26 till October 1.
AMTRON will help the selected organisation to establish a base in India by providing them a platform at Guwahati, Assam with all required resources and amenities to enter Asian market and also handhold them in manufacturing and developing their hardware in Assam through technology transfer agreements. This will indeed not only generate employment as well as opportunities for local people but also bring Assam in the league of major cities having multinational companies based in India.
Ramendra Narayan Kalita, MLA, chairman, AMTRON said, “This is one among the many steps which AMTRON has taken to make Assam the eastern hub of multinational companies.”
With national and multinational organisations already setting up bases in Guwahati and with a successfully running AMTRON Drone School which got inaugurated in August by the minister of Information Technology Keshab Mahanta, soon AMTRON will become eastern India’s largest tech park with chain of electronics manufacturers generating thousands of jobs and opportunities for the local people.
