ABSU leader dies in accident

TEZPUR, Oct 6: Public relation secretary of ABSU Sonitpur district committee Nabajyoti Boro (34) died on spot in a road accident that took place on Tuesday night on NH-15. He was on the way to his home from Dhekiajuli.
The sudden demise of the popular youth leader was deeply mourned by the people of Bahbari mouza. He was the son of Kusheshwar Boro of Samukia village, Bandarmari near Tezpur. He was deeply involved in different social activities in the area and dedicatedly served to boost the self-employment of the unemployed youths and uplift the educational scenario of the rural area. His body was taken to the office of the West Tezpur ABSU and Khelmati High School with a procession consisting of more than three hundred people of the locality.
Different organisations and individuals including Inos Muchahary, general secretary, ABSU Sonitpur district committee, Rupjyoti Boro, secretary, West Tezpur ABSU, Jiten Basumatary, ex-cultural secretary, ABSU central committee, Shambhu Boro, adviser, ABSU, Sonitpur district committee paid their homage to the popular youth leader in his last journey.
