Nagaon Zila Sahitya Sabha’s monthly recitation programme held

NAGAON, Oct 9: Nagaon Zila Sahitya Sabha organised a monthly recitation programme at its district office – Kamala Todi Bhavan on Saturday last. The programme was chaired by Paran Kr Boruah, president of Nagaon Zila Sahitya Sabha.
A few dozens of noted Assamese litterateurs of the district participated in the programme and recited their respective creative writings during the programme. The budding Assamese literary critic and professor Arindam Borkatoki, noted journalist and editor of ‘Prakash’ a monthly Assamese literary magazine – Mihir Deori attended the programme as guests as well as invitees.
During the programme, ‘Kabya Lahoma’ penned by Dr Dilip Sarma and translated book – Nabya Satikar Chinaki Srestha Dalit Kahinee’ by Pratyasha Koushik were ceremonially released by Mihir Deori and Arindam Borkatoki respectively, a release added.
