DONGKAMUKAM, Oct 13: “Women’s patient and tolerant nature has boosted their ability to choose their life paths on all fronts,” said the chief executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang.

He was attending as the chief guest at the 2nd District Mahila Morcha Executive Meet at Ghilani, West Karbi Anglong.
He said, “Through their conscious efforts there is a vast uplift in our society and I request our Morcha activists to further strengthen their work so that women are seen in the same rank as men. In the present era, I have seen women attending and participating in larger numbers in most areas than men. My constituency, Bithung Rengthama, is a worthy example.”
He announced that a building for Handloom and Textile will be built in all 26 Member of Autonomous Council constituencies. The women of the district will get the opportunity to be self reliant.
