Special session of 12th NC Hills Autonomous Council held at Council Assembly Hall

HAFLONG, Oct 17: The Special Session of the 12th (Twelfth) North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), Haflong was held on Monday at Council Assembly Hall for placing and discussion of the SOPD/CSS detail budget against Grant No. 77 for the year 2022-2023.
In the session, EM Biswajit Daulagupu i/c chief executive member of NC Hills Autonomous Council, Haflong presented that the state budget provision for the year 2022-23 under SOPD/CSS (non-salary) was incorporated under major head of account as grants by the state government of Assam unlike previous financial year budget. The details of the sector/department wise budget allocation has been placed in the session before the House for information and with the support of all the members present in the session favouring it, the proposal was approved and passed by NCHAC chairperson Ranu Langthasa.
