Annual convention of Demow Regional Students’ Union held

DEMOW, Oct 23: The annual convention of Demow Regional Students’ Union was held in Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Building, Demow on Friday and Saturday.
As per the schedule, on Friday, the programme started with hoisting of the flag. The flag of All Assam Students Union (AASU) was hoisted by Gautam Borah, president of Demow Regional Students Union.
The ‘swahid tarpan’ was offered by Plabon Buragohain, general secretary of Demow Regional Students Union.
A number of competitions were organised and prizes were distributed.
A felicitation programme was also arranged.
An executive meeting of the Demow Regional Students Union was also held on Friday.
On Saturday, a representatives meeting was organised where the leaders of AASU were present.
