NFR organises Special Cleanliness Campaign 2.0

GUWAHATI, Oct 28: Special Cleanliness Campaign 2.0 which is being organised from October 2, 2022 will continue till October 31, 2022.
Union minister of state (Independent Charge) Science; Technology, minister of State (Independent Charge) Earth Sciences; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public, Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Jitendra Singh launched ‘Swachhata’ portal for the Special Campaign 2.0 on October 2, 2022.
The ministry of Railways has taken up all its stations for the cleanliness campaign. As per the directive of the ministry, NFR is also organising special cleanliness drives for a better and cleaner environment. This campaign is being successfully implemented under the five divisions of NF Railway. Various cleanliness drives with the involvement of members of NF Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides and family members of railway employees are being conducted to publicise the importance of clean surroundings and their long-term positive impact on our lives. A special emphasis has been laid on mechanised cleaning of stations and trains. Special focus has been given on cleanliness of trains and stations and collection and safe disposal of plastic and other
waste.
NF Railway is actively participating in this cleanliness campaign and spreading awareness about the same on its social media platforms on a regular basis. Swachhata Pakhwada and Special Cleanliness Campaign 2.0 is an opportunity for railways to showcase their efforts in trying to maintain cleanliness of the highest order in trains, stations, surrounding areas, railway colony, schools and railway hospitals.
