12th Assam Rifles conducts free dental camp at Jagun

MARGHERITA, Nov 18: Troops of Lekhapani Battalion of 25 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of headquarter inspector general of Assam Rifles (North) conducted a free dental camp for ex-servicemen at Jagun, under Margherita constituency of Tinsukia district, on Friday.
The aim of the free dental camp was to provide free dental consultation and treatment for minor ailments to the ex-servicemen devoid of requisite dental facilities.
“A total of 80 ex-servicemen including their dependents were administered treatment and apart from dental assistance, basic awareness on hygiene and healthy lifestyle was also imparted,” said an officer of 12th Assam Rifles, Lekhapani.
“All the ex-servicemen and their dependents expressed profound gratitude for undertaking such an initiative and appreciated the continuous efforts and commitments of Assam Rifles,” said the officer of 12th Assam Rifle, Lekhapani.
