SIVASAGAR, Nov 25: The Web Media Association Sivasagar celebrated Lachit Divas, near historic Sivadol on Thursday.
The association lit earthen lamps near the 35’ cut out of Lachit Borphukan. The programme was inaugurated by Web Media Association’s president Firoj Ahmed, ATASU’s executive president Basanta Gogoi, and historic Devi Doul’s priest Dudu Borthakur. Pranjal Pujari, secretary of the association, lauded the effort of the Himanta Biswa Sarma government for bringing the legendary Assamese warrior Lachit Borphukan to national limelight.
