Golden jubilee celebration of Demow Town High School

DEMOW, Nov 28: The celebration of the Golden Jubilee Year 2022-23 of Demow Town High School was organised in the school auditorium on Sunday with a day-long programme.
As per the schedule, the programme started with a cleanliness drive which was followed by flag hoisting. The flag was hoisted by Bhim Dehingia, president of the organising committee of Golden Jubilee Year 2022-23.
The smriti tarpan was offered by Nami Prasad Ghatowar, working president of the organising committee of Golden Jubilee Year 2022-23. Mohammad Nurul Hussain, founder teacher laid a foundation stone in the flag hoisting place.
A green house was inaugurated by Rajen Borah, director of Bhagya Lakshmi Sishu Kalyan Kendra, Bandarmari.
The saplings plantation programme was also organised where the dignitaries planted saplings and a discussion session was held under the presidentship of Ajay Kumar Gogoi, professor in Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
Dr Diganta Gogoi, professor in Hem Chandra Dev Goswami College Nitaipukhuri was present in the discussion session as a specific orator.
Cultural programmes were also organised on the occasion, where the students of the school, students of the local educational institutions, local artists performed songs and the students performed dances.
