Officials of Misa Military Station distribute materials among inmates

NAGAON, Dec 26: The officials from Misa Military Station, on the occasion of Christmas, organised a charity donation among the inmates of old age home as well as orphanage which is being run by Asom Gramya Puthibharal Santha at its head office, Nagaon here on Sunday.
The officials led by Brigadier Anand Kumar, station commander from the military station rushed to the head office of the organisation and distributed various usable materials such as clothes, slippers, mattresses, fruits, sweets and other essential items among 35 inmates of the old age home and 30 inmates of the orphanage.
The distribution programme was chaired by Balladev Sarma, the secretary general of Asom Gramya Puthibharal Santha. Vice president of the organisation, Himadri Jyoti Dutta, in-charge of orphanage home Monalisa Bhagawati and superintendent of old age home Ritumoni Chahariya were present during the distribution programme, a release added.
