FM inaugurates PNB’s solar-powered mobile ATM

GUWAHATI, March 1: In line with its comprehensive plan to reduce its carbon footprint, Punjab National Bank (PNB) introduced Sikkim’s first solar-powered mobile ATM in Gangtok. The ATM was inaugurated by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, at a ceremony held on Wednesday in the presence of chief minister PS Golay; Secretary DFS Vivek Joshi, and Chairman of NABARD Shaji KV along with PNB zonal head Durgapur Prabir Kumar Tah; among others.

The new ATM aims at bringing eco-friendly solutions for the people by simultaneously also taking care of the planet. Notably, PNB has recently taken up a slew of measures to serve the people and also lower its carbon footprint across the country.
