IMPHAL, March 29 (NNN): A protest staged by students of Damdei Christian College outside their college campus on Wednesday demanded justice for their colleague who was recently killed by two armed persons in Motbung in Kangpokpi district.
Seigunlal Misao, a class-XII student studying at Damdei Christian College, was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne miscreants at Motbung on Saturday night.
During the protest, the students chanted various slogans demanding booking of the culprits and punishing them as per law.
The students also refuted an allegation hurled by an underground group that the deceased student was a drug peddler.
