Karbi Students Association Holds Protest

KHERONI, April 23: Karbi Students Association (KSA) held a protest dharna in West Karbi Anglong against the alleged “Give and Take Policy” of the Government of Assam to settle the border issue with Meghalaya.

KSA held a protest at Assam-Meghalaya border village of Mukoilum in West Karbi Anglong. KSA said not an inch of land of West Karbi Anglong should be ceded to the neighbouring state. The boundary fixed on April 13, 1951 should be the boundary. KSA said if the government of Assam does not heed their demand there will be intense agitation.
