Assam Rifles Nabs NSCN-K Cadre In Kohima

GUWAHATI, April 22: Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police apprehended one active NSCN-K (NIKI SUMI) cadre from the Box Cutting Area of Kohima Town on April 19. One 0.32 Pistol along with a magazine and three live rounds were recovered from him.

He revealed his name as SS Captain Alopo Yepthomi. Since last year, he along with other cadres had been staying in Kohima town and was reportedly involved in extortion activities.
