Guwahati May 12: Birbhadaur Singh, father of senior journalist and teacher Shivdayal Singh passed away at his residence located near Canal Road, Danirampatar in Hojai on Thursday night. At the time of demise, he was 90 years old. He was suffering from old age-related ailments. He was a soft spoken, religious and honest person. His death was deeply mourned among his well-wishers. His last rites were performed at Bhootnath Cremation Ground in Hojai on Friday. He has left behind his wife, four sons, three daughters along with a host of relatives. Many organisations and individuals have condoled his death and prayed to almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
