The arrested individuals have been identified as SS Lt. Bewang Tangha and Manseng Jugli, both linked to NSCN (KYA), and Kamnong Pangtha of NSCN-KK.

According to Arunachal Pradesh Police, the arrests were made during a series of coordinated operations conducted over the past few days along the Indo-Myanmar border based on credible intelligence inputs.

“On April 29, SS Lt. Bewang Tangha, an active cadre of NSCN (KYA), was successfully apprehended. Earlier, an operation at New Putok village on April 27 led to the arrest of Manseng Jugli, followed by the apprehension of Kamnong Pangtha during subsequent investigation,” the police said in a statement.

A case has been registered at Nampong Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
