6475 PMAY-G houses inaugurated in Sonitpur

TEZPUR, July 14:
 On Thursday, as part of the statewide ‘griha pravesh’ ceremony for 3,07,814 PMAY-G houses across the state, a total of 6475 completed PMAY-G houses were inaugurated in Sonitpur district. The ‘griha pravesh’ ceremony of three PMAY-G houses at Borjuli GP, under Rangapara Development Block, was attended by deputy commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra.
In addition to the inauguration in Borjuli GP, several other blocks in Sonitpur district witnessed the inauguration of PMAY-G houses. This included 1281 houses in Balipara Development Block, 530 houses in Bihaguri Development Block, 1474 houses in Borsola Development Block, 1512 houses in Dhekiajuli Development Block, 1431 houses in Gabhoru Development Block, 173 houses in Naduar Development Block, and 74 houses in Rangapara Development Block.
The ‘griha pravesh’ ceremonies held across the district of Sonitpur were graced by the presence of minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ashok Singhal, Member of Parliament Pallab Lochan Das, all Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), chairperson of Zilla Parishad, chief executive officer of Zilla Parishad, and all assistant deputy commissioners of the district.
